Guidelines

Below are the guidlines for preparing manuscripts for Conversants. The authors are asked to conform to all the instructions described here.

1 Abstract
Suggested maximum length of abstract is 250 words.

2 Fonts
Please be aware of that use of various fonts and sizes may not be reflected in the online format. You may use underlines, bold, and italic.

3 Graphics
Place figures or photographs in the paper where they are first discussed. Graphics files must be either in the GIF, PNG or JPEG format, which are supported by the most Web browsers, and maximum width of 360 pixels. Please be aware of that the complex layout of images and texts may not be retained in the online format. So please keep the layout simple. Provide a caption for every illustration, right below the figure. Number each one sequentially in the form: ``Figure 1. Caption of the Figure.''

4 Tables
Place tables in the paper where they are first discussed. Please be aware of that each row of the table may contain no more than 60 characters in total, due to the layout of the online format. Provide a caption be-low every table. Number each one sequentially in the form: ``Table 1. Caption of the Table.''

5 Footnotes
Footnotes will be placed at the bottom of the page. They may be numbered or referred by asterisks (but not special characters) .

6 Citations and references
Please follow the APA style for citation and references.

7 Numbered list and bulleted list.
Please use the numbered list and bulleted list feature of Microsoft Word. Please be aware the use of the special symbols may not be reflected in the online format.

8 Suggested Lengths
We recommend the following lengths, excluding the title, authors’ information, references, figures, and tables:

  • Articles: 3000-5000 words
  • Essays: 1000-3000 words
